There is a 10 Km long course and a 5 Km short course.

The course will change due to roadworks.


For the Long Course map go to the 2024 River Loop.

Long Course 10Km

Start in Sherriff Park and follow the path onto the river path. Turn right and follow the river path past Aplins Weir to Nathan Street Bridge. Go under the bridge and loop around onto the bridge. Cross the river and again loop around to go under the bridge. Follow the river path past Good Shepherd then torn right onto the dirt road behind good shepherd then turn right onto the path and exit the Palmetum through the main gate. Follow the path back to Nathan Street bridge, cross the river and continue onto Kimball Street, then turn left into Kenealy Street. Turn right into Leopold Street and at the end turn left into Barcroft Street, right into Millard Avenue, left into Thompson Street then right into Burt Street. Turn left into O'Reilly Street, right into Lynd Street, left into O'Dowd, right into Brownhill Street then left into Tertius Street. Turn right into Kane Street, left into Water Street, right into Love Lane and finish in Sherriff Park.

Short Course 5Km

Start in Sherriff Park and follow the path onto the river path. Turn right and follow the river path past Aplins Weir. After the bush garden area, go across the grass to the end of River Parade. Turn right and follow River Parade into Thompson Street then turn right into Burt Street. Turn left into O'Reilly Street, right into Lynd Street, left into O'Dowd, right into Brownhill Street then left into Tertius Street. Turn right into Kane Street, left into Water Street, right into Love Lane and finish in Sherriff Park.

* Athletes are requested to turn up just over 15 mins before their start time.

* Athletes are responsible for bringing their own hydration / nutrition.
