Rolling Thunder Run
The Rolling Thunder Run starts at Paluma Community Hall, Paluma, at 3.00 pm on Saturday the 24th June 2017. This is an out and back course, so it is possible to complete only the distance that you desire. The start time is 3 pm for all distances and abilities. There will be times for all runners, but those runners who do not complete the half marathon will have to advise the distance that was completed. There will be distance markers at some points along the course.
This is a club points event, but only those who complete the half marathon and have an official time are eligible.
The course is subject to change, depending on conditions.
The course starts near the community hall at Paluma and follows the road towards the Paluma Dam for about 10.5 Km and returns to the Paluma Community Hall.
Run the course solo or form a team and complete the course as a relay.
As the course is out and back, then there is an option to turn and return at any distance that is desirable.
