Categories and Prize Money

Note: competitors must be over 18 years of age to enter the Marathon and Half Marathon. Minimum Junior entry age is 9 years.

Adults: age on race day. Juniors: age on 31st Dec 2010.

Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km (male and female)

18 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74, 75 plus

Big Person Trophy (marathon only) over 86kg - weighed in at registration.

11 years and under, 12 – 13, 14 – 15, 16 – 17 years

5km Walkers and adults are non competitive

Records

Marathon - male (2:29:47) and female (2:50:04) $400 each
Half Marathon – male (1:06:24) and female (1:17:43) $300 each
10k Fun Run. As the distance is now 10k instead of 10.5k for this event, there will be no prize as there is no existing record.
5k junior male (17:15) and female (19:15) $100 each.
