Get Ready for the 2010 iSynergy Amcal Australia Day Fun Run

The iSynergy Amcal Australia Day Fun Run will be held on Tuesday the 26th of January 2010.
The course starts from the cricket oval in Pioneer Park on Riverway Drive at 7.30am, follows the path to Federation Bridge then continue on the path to the Twin Cities Bridge and return to finish in the cricket oval in Pioneer Park, for a distance of about 4.5km.
Registrations begin at 6.45am on the day of the event at the Tony Ireland Stadium. The Run/Walk starts at 7.30am.
The entry fee is a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Heart Foundation.
Prize money is as follows:
1st Adult Male (18 years and over) $300
1st Adult Female (18 years and over) $300
1st Junior Male (under 18 years) $100
1st Junior Female (under 18 years) $100
Best dressed individual $200
Best dressed team $200 per team
Continue to enjoy the Townsville Australia Day celebrations at Pioneer Park, Riverway starting at 8am with a FREE Aussie style breakfast sponsored by Walters Supa IGA, for the first 500 people.
The Australia Day celebrations continue with a citizenship ceremony, Australia Day awards ceremony, live entertainment, the Rotary cricket challenge, free children's amusements, welcoming babies ceremony and more.
