Welcome to the Townsville Road Runners

Townsville Road Runners aims to promote running in Townsville through a comprehensive programme of races, social runs, training, and fun runs.

The Club was started in 1972 and current membership is now over 300 financial members per year, with many occasional runners running as visitors. Our major runs attract over 300 runners.

Many of the runs are near the scenic new Strand, on the shores of Cleveland Bay, and take in a variety of courses from flat fast runs to challenging hilly tracks.

OFF SEASON RUNS

All Saturday Club runs are now "Off season runs" until the Dash for Cash in March 2012. From Saturday 07 January 2012 all runs will start at Strand Park at 6.00am.
