King/Queen of the Castle

The King and Queen of the Castle will be held on Sunday the 3rd of September 2017 starting at 7.00 am.

The King and Queen of the Castle will start from THE SPORTS RESERVE, BURKE STREET.

The event also includes the Junior King/Queen of the Castle Fun Run.

There will be age group trophies and random prizes.

 


 

 

Registration

Registration costs are $10 for adults and $5 for school students.

Enter on the day at registration in the sports reserve grounds on Burke Street. Try to be early to avoid the rush. Registration opens at 6.00am.  Entry forms will be available at the event.


Important Note 

There will be a one hour cut off time to the top of the hill.   After this time the officials at the top of the hill will descend and turn around any competitors who have not yet reached the top.

This is for the safety of the competitors as there is a cycle race on the hill after the fun run.


Long Course

The long course is 8.3km starting from the Sports Reserve on Burke St and following Paxton Street, Gregory Streets and Castle Hill road to the car park and return to finish on the track at the Sports Reserve.

 Short Course 

The short course is 4.35km starting from the Sports Reserve on Burke St and following Paxton Street, Gregory Streets and Castle Hill Road past the lower car park to the cleared area (before the steps to Yarrawonga) and return to finish on the track at the Sports Reserve.
